Elementary math

Our math tutoring program covers the Elementary (K-8) Ontario Curriculum strands to provide comprehensive support for students at all levels.

English language support

Our English language program supports both children and adults. It focuses on developing strong listening, speaking, reading, writing and communication skills to help students excel in their academic and professional pursuits. CELPIP prep is offered as well. 

French support  

core & immersion

Our French program supports both children and adults. All levels are welcome. French lessons can be an added support to existing day school classes or stand alone courses based on needs/goals. Listening, speaking, reading and writing are crucial in order to achieve levels of competency and all are part of any program. DELF prep is offered as well.

What subjects do you offer tutoring for?

We offer tutoring for English, ESL, French and elementary math: K-8 (English/French). Our services cover a wide range of student ages: primary, junior, intermediate elementary, high school and adults. Our lessons are delivered on-line. Our teachers are experienced in remote learning with strong computer skills that allow them to offer tech support to students and parents.

How are your tutoring sessions structured?

Making connections with our students is the most important part of developing tutor-student relationships. Meeting our students where they are and taking them to the next level ensures success. Our tutoring sessions are tailored to the individual needs of each student. We assess their strengths and areas for improvement to create a customized learning plan. Our lessons are usually one hour in length to start but are flexible based on student needs.

At Stepien Learning, all our tutors were OCT teachers. We are retirees with many years of experience who love teaching and continue to give our best. We are teachers who know students are the most important part of our organization. Stepien on-line Learning is a tutoring centre located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada run by experienced Canadian trained teachers. Our mission is to empower students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed academically and beyond, while doing it on-line.
